New Hardwood and Softwood Pallets
Timbercrafts’ 8-acre facility makes the company
one of the largest pallet manufacturing operations
in the Western United States. We deliver pallets
throughout Utah and the Intermountain West
(including Wyoming, Idaho, and Nevada). Each of
our five machines has the capability of
manufacturing 1500 new pallets in an eight hour
shift and our most requested pallet is the industry
standard GMA (Grocery Manufacturers
Association) 48"x40" hardwood.
Our wood pallet is anything but a few pieces of
scrap wood nailed together. Rather, it is a vital tool
in its own right, meeting many special shipping and
handling needs we fabricate some pallets to such
rigid specifications that they literally become part
of the quality control process of certain customers
using loaded pallets in automated processing
equipments. Our automatic assembly lines assure
customers that even stock pallets are very square
and true to size for maximum safety and
convenience in storing and shipping materials. All
nails are automatically countersunk to prevent
injury to workers and damage to materials. Screw
shank nails instead of standard box nails are used
to ensure the quality of our products.
Because of our longstanding relationship with
reputable lumber mills, we can maintain an
uninterrupted supply of raw materials. In addition,
our customers get
the best cuts of wood possible, even in the most
economical grades of pallets. The quality is
consistent with each order as well as from one
order to the next. Softwood pallets are generally
less expensive and have a shorter life. Most of our
softwood pallets are made of Hem Fir, Doug Fir
or Pine. Hardwood pallets (made from Alder,
Aspen or Red Maple) last much longer and can
be used over again many times. Wood products
are biodegradable, although the process takes
time. Whatever your needs in
wood pallets are, our experienced consultants

Used Pallets and Custom Products
In helping to preserve the environment and offer our
customers more options, Timbercrafts has
expanded to now include a used pallet
manufacturing operation. By starting with clean
reusable pallets, we completely disassemble the
pallets. Damaged or worn boards are replaced and
the pallet is reassembled and strengthened using
replacement boards and new screw shank nails.
The resulting product is a sturdy, long lasting pallet
that is very cost effective and environmentally
friendly. Prolonging the life of wood pallets helps
eliminate environmental clutter.
We can
also custom design any
size wood boxes and crates for your special
storage and shipping needs. Custom milling
requirements and special construction
considerations can be easily accommodated and
our experienced staff can work with you on both
your material requirements and budget.
